Workflow

• New courses and courses with multiple changes go through the full review workflow (diagram of full workflow)
• Proposals to change only schedule type, crosslisting, or campus go through the expedited review process (diagram of expedited workflow)

Required Information

• At least three liaisons
  • One Academic Liaison must be from outside the college associated with the Originating Academic Unit.
  • The remaining liaisons can be from within the college but must be outside the Originating Academic Unit.
• Course details
  • The CIM forms are dynamic. Depending on the proposal type you select, only certain questions will appear in the form. This way you don't have to fill out fields that don't apply.
• Syllabus
  • For Core Education Courses, a syllabus is required for all locations (Corvallis, Cascades, Hatfield, La Grande, Portland) and all modalities (Ecampus, hybrid, lecture/lab) the course will be taught.
  • Syllabus minimum requirements policy
  • Syllabus templates: On campus course, Bacc Core course, Core Education course or dual category Bacc Core/Core Education course, WIC course, non-credit course, Ecampus online or Hybrid course

Hybrid Programming Offered at the Portland Center

To propose an individual course to be developed and scheduled for hybrid delivery at the Portland Center, visit the Ecampus Course Proposal page and indicate that the course will be an Ecampus hybrid-Portland Center course in the form. Once approved for development as a hybrid course by Ecampus, please submit a course proposal in CIM.
